Customer Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Our goal is to help Advanced Supply Inc (ASI) customers share their passion for SCA’s service and/or products and support our mission — to accelerate the electrification of sustainable transportation.

Referral Credits and Buyer and Loyalty Benefits

Through SCA’s referral program, you can earn exclusive benefits by making your first SCA service and/or product purchase, referring other first-time customers and by continuing to purchase qualifying SCA service and/or products.

Note: To earn buyer benefits, you must purchase a qualifying SCA service and/or product with a referral and have nEVer owned a qualifying SCA service and/or product in the past. To earn referral credits, you must own a qualifying SCA service and/or product.

You can see the current available offers on the SCA website. The referral program is subject to these Terms and Conditions, including a cap, and can change at any time and without notice.
Used service and/or product purchases do not qualify for credits or benefits. If you or a friend placed an order and/or have sent referrals to SCA prior to November 1, 2023, your orders will not be valid for this program as it would have fallen under one of our prEVious referral programs.

Buyer Benefits

You can earn buyer benefits when you make your first SCA service and/or product purchase. To earn buyer benefits with that purchase, you must use a valid referral link when ordering. Referrals cannot be applied after ordering.
Once you’ve made your first purchase, you no longer qualify for buyer benefits, but you may still be able to earn referral credits and loyalty benefits.

Referral Credits

You can earn referral credits by having friends or family use your referral link when they order their first SCA service and/or product. You will not receive referral credits for referring existing SCA customers for purchases.
To be eligible to receive referral credits, you must have a qualifying SCA service and/or product in your SCA Account. If you transfer or remove all qualifying services and/or products from your account, you will not receive referral credits when your friend orders and activates their first SCA service and/or product until you activate a new qualifying service and/or product.

Note: Referrals cannot be applied after ordering, so make sure your friends place their orders or schedule their demo drive using your referral link.

All credits have equal value and accrue under one balance. Credits can be redeemed for SCA referral benefits through one of our SCA coaches, after the Grant Date — the date when the SCA service and/or product is completed and/or received and paid in full. Credit values and available offers and benefits are subject to change at any time without notice.

Loyalty Benefits

You can earn loyalty benefits by purchasing additional qualifying SCA service and/or products using your same SCA Account used to purchase SCA service and/or products prEViously. You can see the current available offers on the SCA website.

Place an Order

When you purchase a qualifying SCA service and/or product through a referral link, you may receive buyer benefits and exclusive referral benefits, and your friend may receive referral credits. The referral cannot be added after the order is placed. Benefits are determined by the date of the qualifying order.

To purchase with a referral link:

  1. Visit your friend’s referral link.
  2. Purchase the SCA service and/or product of your choice from the referral link.
  3. After you place the order, credits will appear as ‘pending’ for the referrer until the Grant Date (close & payment is received in full).

Refer a Friend

Share your referral link with your friends and family directly from the SCA website. When your friend orders a qualifying SCA service and/or product with your referral link, your friend will receive buyer benefits. After your friend activates a qualifying service and/or product, you will receive referral credits if you have a qualifying SCA service and/or product in your account.
To refer a friend:
  1. Open the SCA email address with your referral link.
  2. Copy & paste it to your friend.
  3. From your list of contacts, select all the friends you’d like to refer and send the referral message.
  4. After your friend places an order, credits will appear as ‘pending’ inside the SCA system until the Grant Date.

Earn Loyalty Benefits

Existing customers may automatically earn loyalty benefits when they purchase additional qualifying SCA service and/or products using their same SCA Account. You cannot use another’s referral link to earn loyalty benefits.
To earn loyalty benefits:
  1. Open the SCA email address with your referral link.
  2. Tap ‘the link’ to order any qualifying service and/or products.
  3. Purchase the SCA service and/or product of your choice using your email associated with your existing SCA service and/or products.
  4. After you place the order, credits will automatically appear as ‘pending’ inside SCA’s systems until the Grant Date.
To earn loyalty benefits, you must own (or have prEViously owned) a qualifying service and/or product, and your subsequent purchase of an additional qualifying service and/or product must be made using the same SCA account credentials. Credits cannot be transferred between accounts — EVen if you own both.
If an existing customer attempts to order through a referral link (whether their own or a friend’s), they will not qualify for the referral benefits for buyers, nor will the referrer qualify for referral credits, because the buyer is already part of the SCA community. Instead, the customer automatically earns loyalty benefits associated with the purchased service and/or product.

Redeem Credits for Benefits

Open the SCA app to view your credit balance and shop for benefits.
To shop with credits:
Open the SCA email address with your referral link. Browse the available benefits and the number of credits needed to claim each benefit. Email your Sales Representative how many credits you have and which offering you wish to claim Enter your shipping address and rEView your remaining credit balance upon redemption. Tap the ‘Redeem Credits’ link to claim your benefit.
All credit redemptions are final. No returns or exchanges are accepted. Credits can only be redeemed for benefits on the SCA website. Credits cannot be used to purchase merchandise or accessories on SCA Shop, nor can they be applied to any other SCA service and/or product or service.

  • Referral Links: View and share your referral link with friends and family directly from the SCA website.
  • Qualifying SCA service and/or products for the Referral Program: View the SCA service and/or products that are included in the referral program from the SCA website. For each service and/or product, you will find the referral credits or loyalty benefits you will earn, as well as the buyer benefits and exclusive referral benefits your friend will receive upon delivery or activation of the SCA service and/or product.
  • Shop Available Benefits: Explore available benefits and the number of credits you need to redeem each benefit. Shop with the credits you have earned.
  • Referral History: SCA keeps a ‘History’ of all the friends you have referred to, as well as the status of your referral. Feel free to reach out to us to ensure your records match ours.
  • Credit History: SCA keeps an ‘Available Balance’ record in addition to your referral history of all the friends you have referred to. Feel free to reach out to us to ensure your records match ours.
  • Expiration Dates: Your credits will expire 12 months from their respective Grant Dates. So, please use them while you can.
If you earn additional credits, the expiration date for all of your credits will be extended by 12 months from the most recent Grant Date. In order to extend the expiration date for all of your credits, the delivery or payment date must precede the prEVious credit expiration date.

Terms and Conditions

Effective November 1, 2023
By participating in SCA’s referral program, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and understand that they are subject to change. SCA customers must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for credits, which are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. SCA customers can refer up to 1000 order referrals per calendar year and the order must be placed using the customer’s referral link (except for loyalty benefits). Referral links cannot be credited after the order is placed and cannot be used by the same SCA Account more than once. Credits must be redeemed within 12 months of their Grant Date, or they will expire.
All credit redemptions are final – no returns or exchanges are accepted. Credits can only be redeemed for designated benefits on the SCA website, which are subject to availability and may differ by region and product type. Credits cannot be redeemed for merchandise or accessories on www.smartchargeamerica.com or applied to any other SCA service and/or product or service. Credits cannot be applied retroactively or to benefits that are no longer available for redemption. The customer is responsible for all taxes and local requirements and fees. Merchandise and accessories benefits are only available in regions where the SCA Shop has launched. Only primary account holders can redeem credits for benefits. Nothing in the referral program shall be deemed to create any kind of relationship between the referrer and SCA or any of SCA’s Affiliates. The referrer has no authority to represent or bind SCA. This program and its benefits are conditional on and subject to the local laws and regulations of the registration or installation address of the referrer and buyer, respectively. Ohio and Virginia residents are able to qualify for buyer and loyalty benefits, but they are not eligible for referral benefits. Illinois residents are excluded from any raffles.
We introduce programs such as these in good faith and expect the same good faith in return. The intent of this program is to reward loyal SCA customers for sharing their passion for SCA service and/or products with their friends and family. To be clear, paid advertising, selling or paying or offering incentives for use of referral links is not appropriate, and we will not honor referral links associated with behavior that violates these Terms and Conditions. Customers who have violated any SCA policy are disqualified from this program. Additionally, we reserve the right to withhold benefits where we beliEVe customers are acting in bad faith or otherwise acting contrary to the intent of this program. SCA’s referral program will not remain open indefinitely. If credits are not used during the timeframe of the program at no fault of SCA’s, we reserve the right to cancel the credits once the program ends. We cannot cover EVery nefarious scenario, nor will we attempt to, but we do promise to be fair and reasonable. If you disagree with us, it will be your responsibility to show us that you have not violated any SCA policies or these Terms and Conditions.

Have your friend send you their referral link. Order the SCA service and/or service and/or product of your choice from the referral link. After you place the order, credits will appear as ‘pending’ for the referrer until the Grant Date, when you close and pay for your service and/or service and/or product.

If you’ve received or already own a qualifying SCA service and/or product, you cannot use a friend’s referral link. As a loyal customer, you can earn loyalty benefits by purchasing qualifying SCA services and/or products.
